On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), the public is invited to a public information meeting regarding plans to provide operational improvements along the State Road (SR) A1A northbound (Atlantic Avenue) and southbound (Orlando Avenue) one-way pairs from south of Sherry Lee Lane to north of Sunflower Street in Cocoa Beach.
This project consists of milling and resurfacing of the SR AIA Northbound (Atlantic Avenue) and Southbound (Orlando Avenue) one-way pairs in Cocoa Beach. In addition to repairing the existing pavement, this project includes adding sidewalks, ADA improvements and safety upgrades. This project is funded for construction in the summer of 2016.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 19, at the Cocoa Beach Country Club River Room located at 5000 Tom Warriner Blvd., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. This meeting will be an open house format from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A video of this presentation is also available online at: www.cflroads.com.
