Cedar Avenue Update
Monday morning, October 11th, the reclaimed system will be turned off city wide again while the contractors perform work on the Corner of Cedar and 4th Street. The reclaimed system will be turned back on once the work has been completed which is expected to be late afternoon Monday or Tuesday.
Beginning on Tuesday, October 12th, the contractors will begin side street tie-ins between 4th Street and Capri. Residents along North 4th Street, Formosa, Cyprus, Curacau and Capri will not have reclaimed water until all streets have been completed.
Formosa & Cyprus are scheduled for Tuesday.
Curacau & Capri are scheduled for Wednesday.
Current schedules may change pending the completion of work on Monday.
Sidewalk and curb repair is ongoing and more concrete will be poured next week.
As a reminder the road grading crew went quicker than anticipated and there will be a lag between now and when asphalt will arrive. There is still some grading and prep work to be accomplished but the anticipated road restoration from Minutemen to Cocoa Isles Blvd has a tentative start date in early November. We apologize for the inconvenience from now until then and ask for patience as a well needed newly paved road is coming soon.
