Mop up operations are complete and the fire was officially called out by the Fire Marshall at 11:42 on Saturday morning just a few hours before the rain. The rain and storms will definitely help saturate the area even more and should help keep dust and ash to a minimum. The property was officially turned over to the insurance company and now has now been fenced off with temporary fencing and security guards are on the premises. Even though the fire is out the scene is still extremely dangerous. There are some parts of the structure that are still standing which are unstable and the rubble pile is full of boards with nails, broken tiles, and unstable large twisted I beams. At this time even with security in place we strongly encourage citizens to stay clear of the area due to the existing hazards on scene.
