National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey
The National Center for Health Statistics, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is conducting the study. The study has been successfully conducted for over 55 years and has provided the Center with current and vital data on health conditions and concerns in this country. Data are collected through household interviews and standardized medical examinations in the Center's mobile examination centers.
The study personnel will be conducting the survey in Brevard County from October 28, 2016 through January 19, 2017. Interviewers will be knocking on the doors of randomly selected households throughout the county. They will conduct a brief questionnaire at the doorstep in order to obtain demographic information. The interviewers who approach county residents will carry official CDC identification.
