You make make a public records request in person, by phone, e-mail or complete a Public Records Request Form

Birth and/or Death Record can be obtained from the Brevard County Vital Statistics Office located 2575 N Courtenay Pkwy, Suite 104, Merritt Island, Florida 32953. For more information visit their website at Florida Department of Health Brevard County.

4. How do I get a Declaration of Domicile?

You may get a Declaration of Domicile by completing and filing a form supplied by the Clerk of the Circuit Court. Call the Clerk of the Circuit Court at 321-637-5413.

Call the Brevard County Tax Collector at 321-264-6910.

6. Is there a Notary at City Hall?

As of March 19, 2020, the City Clerk no longer provides Notary Services.

9. Do Cocoa Beach City Commissioners run at large city wide or by district?

City Commissioners run at large for 4-year terms and elections are held on the first Tuesday in November of even years.

10. How do I get an absentee ballot?

Absentee ballot requests may be made in person, by mail, or by phone to the Supervisor of Elections at any time during the one year preceding any election.

11. I recently moved, how do I change my voter registration card?

If your permanent address changed in any way, complete a Florida Voter Registration Application (found in the Clerk’s Office or any of the Supervisor of Election Offices), or fill in the back of your voter ID Card and return card to any of the Election offices.

12. How do I obtain a Property Lien Search?

A property Lien Search is usually obtained by entities such as title companies, when property ownership is changing.  The search provides information about outstanding debt, such as fines, fees and assessments, owed to the City.   Lien Searches are conducted by: Orange Lien  

13. I recently changed name, how can I change my voter registration card?

A name change may be made in person or in writing at any one of the Election Offices
