Joshua Jackson, a resident of Cocoa Beach since 2018, was appointed to Seat 2 in September 2023 to serve the remainder of the term. Commissioner Jackson holds a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master's in Engineering Management from George Mason University. His education has been instrumental in his roles, including program management for the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Trident II D5 Missile System, as well as IT Systems engineering, IT Operations Management and innovation mainstream for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Marine Corps.
Cocoa Beach holds a special place in Commissioner Jackson's heart. He recognizes the critical importance of ensuring that, even in the face of inevitable change, the right adjustments are made to preserve Cocoa Beach's health and vibrancy. Beyond his civic responsibilities, Commissioner Jackson is a dedicated husband and father of two sons, actively participating in the Pointe Church in Cocoa Beach.
