The Code Enforcement Division enforces local, county, and state statutes applicable within the city limits of Cocoa Beach. 

The Code Enforcement Division is comprised of Development Services and Public Safety. 

The Development Services ensures that within City limits, properties remain in compliance with the Land Development Codes and Ordinances. If you have more questions, please call the Development Services department at 321-868-3217.

Public Safety ensures that within City limits, the Code of Ordinances is being followed.

Civil Citation Program

In conjunction with the Cocoa Beach Police Department, the Code Enforcement Division uses the Civil Citation Program which allows police and code enforcement personnel to issue "on the spot" civil citations to violators of the City's Code of Ordinances. Violations of a lesser nature frequently involve a "Notice of Violation."
