Fire Prevention / Code Enforcement Division


The Fire Prevention Division of Cocoa Beach is headed by Division Chief/Fire Marshal Salvatore Liberto. This office is responsible for enforcing all code enforcement responsibilities under the current requirements of the Florida Fire Prevention Code, as well as conducting all fire related investigations within the city limits. The Fire Marshal also serves as a member of the City's Development Review Committee, which is responsible for reviewing plans of proposed new construction and performing all subsequent inspections.

Through proactive means of inspection, plan reviews, training, and education of the public, it is the Fire Prevention Division's primary responsibility and goal to provide the highest level of safety possible for the residents, employees, and visitors of the City of Cocoa Beach.
