The Citizen’s Academy is a look into the internal values, philosophy and operations of the City of Cocoa Beach Government, and is designed for City residents. Classes run for fourteen (14) weeks on Tuesday evening, one (1) session a week for approximately three (3) hours each, and one (1) Saturday session. Participants will gain knowledge and insight of each department through discussions, demonstrations and site visits to include a variety of topics and issues that pertain to the City of Cocoa Beach.
Citizen’s Academy is hosted by the Cocoa Beach Police Department.
