FOOD DRIVE UPDATE

There are two locations that the Cocoa Beach Community Food Drive is providing food and supplies to stock their shelves for local citizens in need. They are:

Lutheran Resurrection Church at 525 Minutemen Causeway Food Pantry is open Saturday’s 10:00 am-12:00 pm and will be open this Saturday.

Society of St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry (through Our Savior’s Catholic Church) is open Monday, Wednesday, Fridays 9:30 am- 1:00 pm. Site pick up is different than the church so please call ahead 321-799-3677 for pick up. They will be open tomorrow.


The Cocoa Beach Community Food Drive was specifically started to benefit workers and families in Cocoa Beach that have been laid off, furloughed and/ or out of work. These two food pantries will be open to serve you at the above mentioned hours. The citizens of Cocoa Beach have reached out to support you. Please if you are in the service industry, servers, nail techs, massage therapists, hair salons, hospitality workers or others that have been impacted by the shutdown and in need, please utilize these pantries to fill your needs at this time.
Thank you to all that have donated. Deliveries are still being accepted today, (April 23) and tomorrow Friday, April 24 from Noon-6:00 pm behind the parking garage in the alley by 87 Main Street Spirits. Monetary donations can be made online at: http://www.cocoabeachfire.com/support-us.html
