The City is working with FWC to remove invasive Brazilian pepper from the islands along the 300 channel to make room for mangrove and other native plants. There will be a crew working on the islands this week and next week. The work areas are circled on the map below.

WATER REC RECIEVES $3.3M grant from Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) to slip line 16 miles of sewer pipes damaged from Hurricane Irma. This grant will allow the City to complete approximately 70% of the City's sewer pipes! CONGRATULATIONS Brad Kaslow and Finance Department for the successful writing of the grant.
