We are delighted to announce two promotions in the Finance Department. Please join the City in congratulating Patrisha Draycott on her promotion to Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Patricia has been in the position of Controller since she came on-board with the City last May. She has a wealth of experience in governmental accounting; working for the City of Issaquah in Washington for 23 years and spending additional time working in Alaska for a non-profit health consortium. Patrisha is enrolled in the Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA) Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) program.
Also join the City in congratulating Jenna Ryan on her promotion to Controller. Jenna has been with the City in the position of Accountant since August 2011. She has been actively involved with Treasury Management and assisted with multiple complex projects as well as overseeing specific day to day operations. Jenna is enrolled in the Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA) Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) program.

Cocoa Beach Fire Fighters Help Cocoa SWAT
Cocoa Beach Fire Department used their training tower to train the City of Cocoa’s SWAT team. Not only does the training tower assist the Cocoa Beach Firefighters in their training but that knowledge and facility is used to train surrounding First Responders. Well-trained First Responders is what makes our city and county safer!
