The City is soliciting applications for the Firefighters’ Pension Board. Currently, there is one Board vacancy.  

The Firefighters’ Pension Board meets quarterly, late afternoons, at City Hall.
The Cocoa Beach Firefighters' Pension Board is a fiduciary board.  
The Board’s mission is to ensure that the fund maintains a stable and upward growth and to coordinate efforts with the Money Manager, Actuarial Firm, and the City government of Cocoa Beach.
Completion of Form 1, State of Florida Financial Disclosure Form is required.
Applicants must live within the City limits, and must complete a Board application.

FPL Transformer 

Due to the weather conditions today a FPL transformer blew at the corner of Cedar and Watts Way. Fire and police acted quickly and there was no fire. FPL is on their way to repair the transformer. At this time we are unsure of any power outages. If you are without power please call 1-800-4-OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243).
