City Facilities

The City of Cocoa Beach has decided to close all facilities from Wednesday 09/28/22 through Friday 09/30/22.

This includes:

the golf courses,
pool,
19th Hole,
City Hall,
Rec Center
and Tennis Courts.

Once the storm has cleared and the facilities has been accessed we will notify of the re-opening of said facilities.

Waste Management

Reminder: Brevard County landfills and transfer stations will be closed starting at 10:30 am.

As a result, Waste Management will be suspending service mid-morning tomorrow, Wednesday, September 28. Service will resume once the County is able to re-open its facilities.

Waste Management will begin its usual Wednesday residential service at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow in order to service as many customers as possible prior to the facility closures.

We advise residents that, if they have not received service by 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, they should secure carts and refuse until after the storm.

Residents are strongly discouraged from placing clam yard waste piles or bulky waste curbside today as it will likely not be serviced prior to the storm.
