City Hall Closed 

November 9th - November 11th, 2022

Due to the anticipated storm arrival, the City of Cocoa Beach is closing all city facilities.

The following facilities will be closed from November 9th - November 11th, 2022: 

• Temporary City Hall/ Public Works Facility
• 19th Hole Restaurant
• Country Club - Golf Course
• Pool
• Skate Park
• Tennis Courts
• Rec Center
• All City Parks

Waste Management

Brevard County Solid Waste has advised that the County landfills and transfer stations will close at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 9, 2022. 

Waste Management will begin residential service Wednesday, November 9, 2022,  at 5:00 am. 

If residents did not receive collection by 9:30 am Wednesday, they are advised to secure carts until after the storm. 

The collection will be suspended after 9:30 am Wednesday, November 9, 2022. 
Waste Management strongly discourages residents from placing clam yard waste piles or bulky waste curbside today, as it will likely not be serviced before the storm. The expectation is to resume service for Saturday customers on Saturday, November 12. 

From Brevard Public Schools

All Brevard Public Schools and District offices will be closed beginning Wednesday morning, November 9th, through Thursday, November 10th, due to Tropical Storm Nicole. All school activities, events, and programs for these two days are canceled.

BPS is scheduled to close Friday, November 11th, for Veterans Day.

Updates will be posted on the district website and social media platforms and sent via email to BPS families. Please note that Thanksgiving Week won't be impacted by the need to make up two days of school; those makeup days will be announced at a future date

Thrift Madness Sale - Cancelled

Due to the storm, the Thrift Madness Sale has been cancelled. A new date is to be determined.
