9/11 Ceremony at Fire Station 51
Earlier this morning, Fire Station 51 and Cocoa Beach Police Department, Saluted to the men and women who lost their lives this day 22 years ago.
Shortly after the presentation, a crew began the 9/11 stair climb in the fire department stairwell going from the first floor to the roof 27.5 times. (Up/Down was one time).
The dedication to the 3,000 people who died on this day, is the single largest loss of life. 343 Firefighters and paramedics, 23 New York City Police Officers, and 37 Port Authority Police Officers sacrificed their lives on this date. #wewillneverforget
