Sustainability Action Plan

We are excited to invite residents to actively participate in shaping the future of the City of Cocoa Beach through our Sustainability Action Plan Community Survey, now available online. This 5-minute survey seeks to gather valuable insights from residents on a variety of aspects of sustainability.

Your input will play a key role in informing the 5-year update to the City's Sustainability Action Plan. As we collectively move toward a more sustainable future, the City of Cocoa Beach recognizes the significance of collaboration between citizens and local government. Together we can create a resilient and sustainable city that benefits current and future generations.

Recycle your Holiday Lights!

It's that time again! The City of Cocoa Beach is collecting your unwanted Holiday Lights for recycling! We want to help you recycle your holiday lights right!
Do NOT put Christmas Lights in your Waste Management recycling bin. Christmas lights get caught in the machines at the recycling facility and are a safety hazard for workers.
Drop off your unwanted (non-working) Christmas lights in the collection bins at a collection location to be recycled properly.
Find collection locations at:
Public Works/City Hall (1600 Minutemen Causeway)
