Minutemen Causeway Road Closure

January 3rd and 4th, 2024

Today, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, between 7:30 am and 2:30 pm, there will be construction work along Minutemen Causeway. The roadway will be closed in both directions as crews work on the pedestrian walkways. Should the work remain incomplete, it may continue into Thursday, January 4th.

Detour routes have been established for your convenience:

Westbound Detour: Motorists traveling westbound can take Woodland Ave. to 1st Street North.

Eastbound Detour: For those heading eastbound, the detour directs drivers from Cedar Ave to 1st Street North.

Please pay attention to and follow the posted detour signs to ensure smooth traffic flow and navigate around the construction area safely. 

Our Cocoa Beach Country Club facilities will remain open for the day.
