Trash Bash 2024

As part of the Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB) Trash Bash 2024, we have 3 clean-up locations. Join us on Saturday April 6th, 2024 at:

Downtown

• Meet at Studios of Cocoa Beach
• Time: 8 AM

Alan Shepard Park

• Meet on the beach at Shepard Park
• Time: 9 AM

What you need to know:

• Volunteers should wear clothing and shoes appropriate for spending time in the sun and traversing on beach sand.
• Please bring a reusable water bottle.

North Thousand Islands

• Meet at Lutheran Church
• Time: 8:30 AM
• Volunteers can:
  • Ride to the site on the City Boat
  • Borrow a Kayak
  • Bring your own kayak/canoe/ SUP

What you need to know:

• Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate for traversing on islands.
• Please bring a reusable water bottle.

Coffee with the City Manager

Join us for a chat over coffee with the City Manager.

Night Lane Closures 

 April 7-13th

Contractors repairing sewer lines will be working the night shift in various locations this week. Please take note and use caution when traveling in these areas. 

Sunday, April 7, 2024 - North Orlando Ave, from 1st Street North to Minutemen Cswy. will have night shift lane closures. All parking on North Orlando Ave. will not be available after 8 pm. 

Monday, April 8th - Veterans Way and Municipal Lane (Alleyway behind/ next to the parking garage and the Police Station.) Will be closed after 8 pm for sewer repairs. No thru traffic. 

Tuesday, April 9th - Friday, April 12th - Night lane closure on North Atlantic from Marion Lane to Surf Dr. 

Flaggers will be present to help aid traffic. Please be cautious while driving through these areas; we apologize for any delays this may cause.
