Sandbag Distribution  

The city has decided to provide sand for those who need sandbags. 

You will need to bring the following: 

• sandbags 
• shovels
• assistance if you are unable to lift

Sand will be located at the east side of the Cocoa Beach Country Club located at 5000 Tom Warriner Blvd. It is first come first serve. 

Prepare Now Before the Storm!

We know this is a sizable storm with some uncertainties, but we know it's always best to be prepared. 

As you prep for this storm here are key reminders: 

• Debris and Brush - keep out of the stormwater drainage. 
• Secure loose items in yards - 

Complete all household chores, laundry, dishes etc.

Waste Management Update: 

As of 9:30 am on 9/25/2024 - the Waste Management schedule has not changed for this week. This could change with the change of information regarding the storm. Follow https://www.wmfloridastorm.com for more up-to-date information on schedule changes. 

Minutemen Lane Closure for Stormwater Cleaning

Stormwater System Cleaning on Minutemen Cswy: 

Please use caution on Wednesday, September 25th while driving on Minutemen Cswy from Coconuts on the Beach to Brevard Ave. Crews will be working in this area during  school hours

The Stormwater Team will be cleaning the underground stormwater system on Minutemen Cswy. Portions of the road may be closed.
