Responding during the StormSustained winds of 35 mph, our Public Safety Crews, Police, and Fire, will respond to limited calls as deemed necessary.
However, when winds become a sustained 55 mph, our Public Safety Crews, Police, and Fire will be unable to respond to calls. They will respond when deemed safe and in order of priority from our dispatch center. The Ambulance services will be limiting responses at 35 mph and will be fully suspended when winds stay sustained at 45 mph.
If you are having an emergency do not call family, friends, or local officials for assistance. Call 911 for ALL emergency calls.
This creates more of a hazard on our Public Safety crews when you put those in danger who are not trained.
Stay Safe
