Storm 2024

After Milton

City Hall / Public Works Facilities

We have resumed normal City Hall and Public Works Facilities operations, which are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Cocoa Beach Country Club and Golf Course is closed until further notice.

The Rec Center is open at normal hours.

Conserve Water

The water table is still rising and is still an issue. As the river rises, the standing water has no place to go. This causes problems for our Waste Water Plant. We are near capacity at the plant.

Please conserve the usage of water. You can do that by reducing the amount of toilet flushes done, not doing laundry, and not using your sink.

DEBRIS Clean-up

Waste Management is running again and will be out collecting anything in bins today. No clam trucks will be running.

The city is working with Crowder Gulf and is doing assessments today throughout the city to determine our situation. The city is actively in communication with our debris contractor and is working with them to have a collection of the debris soon.

If you are working on your yards and home, please, make separate piles (Vegatative yard debris vs home debris). No paint cans or toxic materials will be collected.

DO NOT PILE YOUR DEBRIS ON STORMWATER DRAINS

As soon as we have the word that the crews are deployed we will notify you of the deployment.

Take this time to get your debris to the roadway. Many residents are flooded and are unable to get to their debris. Help your neighbors if you are able.

Remember, Crowder Gulf is working with multiple cities and will determine who and where the deployment teams will go first. Once we have an exact date notifications will be sent out.
