Some of these new changes include

  • New Speed Limit - From 35 mph to 30 mph.
    • Cocoa Beach Police Department is enforcing this change.
  • Speed Bumps
    • FDOT has installed the new speed bump at 1st Street South, Orlando Ave. and one at Summer Street, North Atlantic Ave.
    • Reduce speed to 20 mph while using speed bump.
  • Crosswalk Beacons

Crosswalk beacons have been installed south of Minutemen Causeway. Use caution and watch for pedestrians. We are awaiting word from FDOT to know more when the beacon lights will become active along this corridor.

Don't Pollute...

...even by accident! Not all pollution is intentional.

Sediment also contributes to waterway pollution! Sediment from soil-disturbing activities can pollute waters if Best Management Practices (BMPs) are not implemented.

Report concerns to www.CityofCocoaBeach.om/ConstructionConcern

Sediment is waterway pollution too
