It's that time of year! Thunder on Cocoa Beach is coming to Downtown Cocoa Beach this Friday, May 16th!  

5/16/2025 - Thunder on Cocoa Beach Street Party****

EXPECT TRAFFIC DELAYS. 

South Orlando Ave. will be close to traffic, beginning at 2:30 pm.  (2:30 pm to 10:30 pm) 

Public Safety crews will divert all southbound traffic starting at 2^nd Street North to northbound lanes for two-way traffic. 

When traveling in the downtown area please proceed with caution and expect delays.

Cancelled Coffee

Coffee with the City Manager is cancelled for the Month of May. The next scheduled coffee is set for June 10th, 2025.

Burn Ban Lifted

Effective May 12, 2025, the burn ban in Brevard County has been officially lifted. Residents may now resume open burning, following all applicable safety regulations and permitting requirements.

Please continue to practice safe burning:

• Never leave fires unattended 
• Keep water or firefighting tools nearby
• Follow local guidelines
