Graduation Traditions Abound

This week we celebrate our Cocoa Beach High School Seniors. Join us as the Class of 2025 makes their annual parade down Minutemen Causeway on the way to the parking garage on May 22, 2025.

Afterward, they will proceed to the beach for their unique annual walk along the beach. 

Let's come out and celebrate the Class of 2025!

Traffic Notice: Starting at 5:00 PM on Thursday, there will be a traffic delay on Minutemen Causeway during the parade. Traffic will be stopped on South Orlando as the students turn to go to the garage. The 2nd & 3rd floors of the parking garage will also be closed Thursday, May 22nd.

Beach Weather means...

  • Hydrate early and often
  • Protect your skin – apply (and re-apply) sunscreen, and wear a hat or light layers.
  • Take shade breaks – step indoors or find covered areas whenever possible.
  • Listen to your body – if you start feeling overheated, slow down and seek air-conditioning right away.

Don't forget your pets! If it's hot for you your pets are feeling it too! When going for walk keep in mind that asphalt and pavement gets HOT! A good rule of thumb is to avoid walking your your dog when the air temperature is 85°F or higher.

    • Minutemen Parade starting at 5:00 PM, expect traffic delays
  • Friday, May 23 - Graduation Day and Project Graduation
  • Saturday, May 24 - VFW Memorial Day Service 
    • VFW, 150 Minutemen Causeway
    • Time: 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM
    • Street Closure for event
  • Saturday, May 24 - ESA Surf Contest at Lori Wilson Park
