DEBRIS PICK IN COCOA BEACH

The City of Cocoa Beach has contracted a separate company to pick up debris in Cocoa Beach. Their trucks are expected to start picking up tomorrow. Waste Management will resume regular garbage pick up schedule today, they will not be picking up yard waste.
If you call Waste Management they may charge you for the pick up. Please wait for the City contractor tomorrow.
See flyer below on sorting your debris. It is very important to sort because separate trucks will be picking up different items. Please pass this information unto your neighbors and friends.

Additionally, after the large debris piles are picked up there may be leaves left behind. The Coordinator of Storm Water  for the City asks residents to please rake the leaves and small twigs off the curb gutters to prevent the blockage of storm drains.
