According to the National Weather Service:

Extreme Cold Watch & Freeze Watch in effect
Wind chills as low as 7–18°F early Sunday
Strong winds: 20–30 mph with gusts up to 40–50 mph

What to do now:

Dress in layers and limit outdoor activity
Bring pets indoors
Protect pipes and sensitive plants
Secure outdoor items and use space heaters safely

Finish preparations by Saturday morning before the strongest winds arrive.
Bundle up, check on neighbors, and let’s get through this chilly stretch together.

Lane Closure for Sewer Line Repair: Traffic Advisory

Beginning Monday, February 2nd, crews will continue sewer line work on South Atlantic Avenue between 1st Street South and Minutemen Causeway.

Right-lane closures are expected while crews are working in the area.

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through this area.

Due to inclement weather the Cocoa Beach Country Club will have a delayed opening on:

Sunday: Golf Course, Driving Range, and 19th Hole will open at 9 AM
Monday: Golf Course & Driving Range will open at 9 AM; 19th Hole is closed for scheduled staff training.
