Rain doesn’t travel solo.

As stormwater flows through our streets, it picks up litter, oil, fertilizers, and other yucky stuff before heading straight to our beaches and lagoon. And on a barrier island? There’s no long road trip — it gets there fast.

What goes in the storm drain… goes in the lagoon. Yep. No filter. No pit stop.

So let’s keep it clean:

Keep storm drains clear
Use fertilizers sparingly
Choose products that are lagoon-friendly
Because clean water = happy wildlife, healthier beaches, and better days on the sand.

Movies in the Park!

As Voted by your Freedom 7 Elementary School First Grade

When the 1st grade class at Freedom 7 Elementary School visited City Hall, they helped us vote on April’s movie, but surprise we are moving it up a month!

This month’s movie pick comes straight from some of our smallest (and most enthusiastic!) community members and they chose: Lilo & Stitch

Time: 7:00 PM
Where: Centennial Park

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and your ohana, because movie nights are better together. Come early to grab a good seat, say hello to neighbors, and enjoy the sunset before the show begins!

Free admission and open to the whole community. Huge thanks to our Freedom 7 first graders for helping us choose this month’s feature — we’ll see you at the park!
