St. Johns River Water Management District presented a check for $608,684.00 to the City of Cocoa Beach for the City’s continued support in developing and implementing improved water quality and conservation projects. The City applied for funds for the Muck Removal Phase III project, to dredge muck in 13 residential canals, in an amount not to exceed $608,684.00, towards the estimated construction cost of $1,844,496.00. On June 13, 2017, the St. Johns Water Management District Governing Board approved the funding for the project.
