Brevard Parks Announce Closings in Advance of Hurricane Irma 

All Brevard County Parks will close at dusk on Thursday, Sept. 7.

Chain of Lakes, Mitchell Ellington Park and Max K. Rodes will remain open until dusk on Friday, Sept. 8, as sandbag distribution locations.

The County's three campgrounds – Manatee Hammock, Wickham and Long Point -- will close at dusk on Friday, Sept. 8.

A Public News Release will announce when parks are to re-open.
