UPDATE FROM CITY OF COCOA BEACH

1. Brevard County Schools will remain closed Wednesday and until further notice.
2. Emergency order to extend until Tuesday, September 19 was signed by the Mayor this morning.
3. There will be a water station at Cocoa Beach High School east parking lot. Exact time to be posted on Facebook and website soon. One case per car.
4. 64% of the county is without power- City is continuing communications with FPL.
5. Water service issues ongoing with City of Cocoa- anticipate addressing all issues in 24-48 hours.
6. Due to damage City Hall and PD will have limited operations for the remainder of the week. This DOES NOT mean officers are not working they are patrolling.
7. City is mobilizing debris pick up company now.
8. Due to many people not having access to computers and electricity the City will be posting updates in local businesses. City will annouce locations soon.  IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS AND YOU ARE ABLE COULD YOU PLEASE PRINT AND POST THIS AT YOUR BUSINESS. THANK YOU!
