Members of the Cocoa Beach Police Department will be participating in the Law Enforcement Torch Run April 19 to raise awareness for Special Olympics. Each year over 5,000 officers carry the torch on a 1500-mile relay through 67 counties in Florida.
WHERE: On Ocean Beach Blvd. Beginning behind Wakulla Suites and will conclude at the Cocoa Beach Pier

Health First is partnering with the Cocoa Beach Police Department in efforts to provide a save, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about medications and the potential for abuse. The public can turn in their unwanted, expired or unused medications to an on-site Cocoa Beach Police Officer, Cocoa Beach Citizen Volunteer or Health First representative for safe disposal anonymously.
