No dogs on the beach until July 15, when the ordinance takes effect. 
The Cocoa Beach City Commission passed Ordinance No. 1620 last night allowing dogs on the beach from 4th Street South to north end of Robert P. Murkshe Park from 6:00am-10:00am and 5:00pm to 7:00pm during standard time and ending at 9:00pm during daylight savings time. This ordinance goes into effect July 15, 2018. Dogs must be on a 6 foot leash at all times and owners must clean up after their dog. Please remember no dogs are allowed on the beach until July 15, 2018.
