NEW PARKING GARAGE UPDATE

Groundbreaking for the new parking garage will be September 17, 2018 (Monday) at 9:00am at 25 S. Orlando Avenue (site of the new garage).
The Contractor has installed 4 test piles this week. They will begin installing the remainder of the piles at the end of September.

COCOA BEACH NIGHT OUT!

Save the Date for the Cocoa Beach Night Out. The Cocoa Beach Police Department will hold a Cocoa Beach Night Out on October 23, 2018 to coincide with City Government Week. The event will be held at the Cocoa Beach Pool Pavilion at 5:00pm– 8:00pm. There will be food, fun, exhibits, and a chance to learn more about the Cocoa Beach Police Department, as well as, sustainability efforts in Cocoa Beach.

HONOR FLIGHT DONATION

On July 21, 2018 the City of Cocoa Beach employees held a Community Golf Tournament. The tournament raised $10,000 to be distributed to a charity in the area. At the September 6, 2018 City Commission meeting Honor Flight was presented with a $10,000 check. Honor Flight is a charitable organization that takes World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veterans to visit their memorials in Washington DC. This donation allows for 20 veterans to travel to Washington DC. Thank you to the Cocoa Beach Community for their support.
