COCOA BEACH PARKING GARAGE OPEN

Tomorrow Cocoa Beach City Commissioners will open the new Downtown Parking Garage. The opening will be as follows:

Come down and watch the first cars enter the new parking garage!

The City will hold a dedication ceremony in late June to honor and thank Dr. Kristin Smallwood for her donation of the sculpture and place the dedication plaques on the building. The public is invited!

Cocoa Beach parking permits will be honored in the garage. Parking rates are $2.50/hour or $15.00/day.

North Banana River Blvd. Open to Thru Traffic Today

Beginning this afternoon N. Banana River Blvd. will be open to all traffic with no lane closures or detours for the holiday weekend.

Beginning Tuesday, May 28 N.Banana River Blvd. will be narrowed for pipe work but will not be closed.

On Wednesday, May 29, there will be flagmen directing traffic as needed around restoration work.

The project should be completed with the road completely open on Thursday, May 30.

Please use caution in the area.
