APPLY FOR TRANSPORTATION PLANNING ORGANIZATION (TPO), CITIZEN'S ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CAC)

The City of Cocoa Beach is soliciting applications for membership on the Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), Citizen’s Advisory Committee, to represent the North Beach Coalition.  
ü  In 2020, Cocoa Beach is the designated delegate for the North Beach Coalition, and is authorized to appoint a citizen delegate and an alternate.
ü  The function of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CAC) is to provide citizens’ views and recommendations to the TPO Governing Board on projects, plans, and programs referred to the Committee.
ü  The CAC has 24 voting members and alternates appointed by local jurisdictions.
ü  If you are interested to be considered for appointment, please complete an application.  The deadline to submit the application is November 20, 2019.
CAC meetings are held at 9:30 am at the Viera Government Center, usually on Monday of the same week as the TPO Governing Board. Exceptions are January, June and August, which have no scheduled meetings.
