Throughout the school year, your child will learn a variety of media including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, textiles, clay, and printmaking. Progress will be evaluated and parents may decide whether or not to have their child's work graded. Students should bring a sketchbook, preferably a 8x11 or 9x12 spiral-bound sketchbook (unlined) . 2. Kids Arft Class: Fall Lanterns

    November 2, 2023, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    @

    Studios of Cocoa Beach

The Studios of Cocoa Beach is hosting a three session children’s class : “Fall Lanterns” which meets on Thursdays from 4 to 5 pm, November 2, 9, and 16. The class is ideal for children age 4 to 11. The class is also available on Saturday mornings. This super-fun class focuses on process, rather than product. Process art allows children to explore materials without the pressure of "right" or "wrong" ways to do things. It helps develop creativity and self-esteem by focusing on what kids imagine rather than their skill level. Groups are small allowing for each child to have as much attention and guidance as they need to create and learn! Instructor Glaucia Romano has a masters degree in Art Education and is a Florida Certified Art Teacher. Class meets at the Studios of Coco Beach, 165 Minutemen Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach. Fee for the three class session is $67 which includes all materials. Register at www.studiosofcocoabeach.org
